Seachem Safe

Seachem Safe is a highly concentrated, complete dry conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It effectively removes chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifies harmful ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making it an essential tool for maintaining water quality. Unlike liquid conditioners, Safe™ is super-concentrated, making it cost-effective and powerful for larger systems. It is also non-acidic, so it won’t impact pH levels, and it won’t over-activate protein skimmers in reef tanks.

Usage Instructions:

• For 50 grams: Use 200 mg per 200 L (50 US gallons) to reduce chlorine and chloramine, or per 50 L (13 US gallons) to detoxify ammonia.
• For larger sizes: Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) per 1,250 L (300 US gallons) to reduce chlorine and chloramine, or per 300 L (75 US gallons) for ammonia detoxification.
• For precise dosing, use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale.

Directions:

1. Add directly to water or preferably to new water before adding it to the tank. Base the dose on the aquarium’s total water volume.
2. Double the dose for high chloramine concentrations if needed.
3. In emergencies (high nitrite/nitrate levels), use up to 4 times the normal dose.
4. If water temperature is above 30°C (86°F), reduce the dose by half if chlorine or ammonia levels are low.
