Directions for Use
- Use 5mL of AquaVitro Alpha for every 300 liters (75 US gallons) of water in your aquarium.
- This dosage will remove approximately 1 mg/L of ammonia, 4 mg/L of chloramine, or 5 mg/L of chlorine from the water.
- It is recommended to add AquaVitro Alpha to new water before adding it to the aquarium. However, it can also be added directly to the aquarium.
- If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dosage on the actual volume of water in the aquarium.
- A sulfur odor may be noticed, which is normal for this product.
- For aquariums with exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose of AquaVitro Alpha can be safely used.
- In emergencies where nitrite detoxification is needed, up to 5 times the normal dose of AquaVitro Alpha may be used.
- If the water temperature is above 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose of AquaVitro Alpha.
