Seachem CupriSorb is a powerful adsorbent designed to remove copper and heavy metals from your aquarium more rapidly and efficiently than carbon. Ideal for emergency copper removal, CupriSorb extracts all types of copper, including chelated copper, and remains effective until it turns a deep blue-black color. It can be regenerated repeatedly, making it a cost-effective solution for maintaining a healthy aquarium environment.

• Usage:
  • Use 250 mL for every 600 L (150 US gallons) to remove up to 7,500 mg (12 ppm) of copper.
  • Place in a filter media bag such as The Bag™ for best results.
  • Suitable for use in canister filters, chemical filtration modules, box filters, or high flow areas of trickle filters.

Directions

1. Initial Use: Rinse glassware with warm water.
2. Placement: Place CupriSorb in a filter media bag and position it to maximize water flow.
3. Monitoring: Use MultiTest™ Copper to monitor copper levels.
4. Regeneration: Soak in a non-metal container with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of muriatic acid for 1 hour, rinse well, and repeat as needed. Add sodium bicarbonate until foaming stops, rinse again, and CupriSorb is ready for reuse.
