The element™ Z Zeolite Reactor is a versatile and compact filtration system designed specifically for reef aquariums of up to 100 US gallons or 380 liters. It utilizes zeolite as a filter media to remove various pollutants from the aquarium water while also providing a habitat for beneficial bacteria, which aids in reducing organic nutrient loads and improving coral coloration.

1. Easily Removable Inner Chamber: The inner chamber can be easily removed for cleaning, media replacement, or top-offs without having to fully dismantle the reactor.
2. Movable Separation Plate: The separation plate inside the reactor can be adjusted vertically, allowing for the use of different volumes of media in a compacted manner, thus preventing media shearing.
3. High Capacity Chamber: The reactor chamber has a capacity of up to 1.2 liters, allowing for ample space to hold your chosen zeolite media (e.g., Seachem Zeolite™).
4. Two Pump Feature for Easy Flow Reversal: The reactor includes a feature called “Easy Wash” that alternates pump cycles to reverse the direction of flow, facilitating efficient filtration. This feature also releases bacteria into the system for the benefit of corals and can include aeration.
5. Polishing Mechanical Filter Finish: The reactor comes with a fine filter sock finish that acts as a mechanical filter, preventing media particles from escaping into the aquarium and minimizing the release of microbubbles that could irritate corals.
